General characteristics:

Heading and notes:	GREETINGS printed below a variety of images and telegram printed below window.. Two printings included a reference to Telecom Australia and a logo.
Message area:	Unbordered rectangular window.
Reverse side:	Blank.
Colours (text & envelope):	Multicoloured on white.
Size of envelope overall:	89 × 146 mm.

Distinctive characteristics of this form:

the last of the generic GREETINGS delivery envelopes;
the design incorporates a scroll, bon bon, guitar, candle and ship;
except for the last design variation, the form number (T.X. 65F) and the schedule number are printed under the right side of the flap on the reverse side;
probably printed in 1979;
the main distinctions amongst the varieties are:
GGE-7A: security pattern is vertical and rounded corners are larger;
GGE-7B: security pattern is diagonal and rounded corners are smaller;
GGE-7C: has a reference to TELECOM.

The Post Office Monthly Circular for June 1980 noted:

"Telecom Australia has decided to discontinue the use of the Christmas Greetings Envelope Form TX65G and use the normal greetings envelope (TX65F) in its place. Consequently any stocks of form TX65G held at Post Offices should be destroyed".

	AT-GGE-7A. Unused delivery envelope. Characteristics: the security pattern was arranged either vertically or diagonally in different printings (see next image). The same schedule numbers were used despite the different arrangements. Hence all envelopes with this design on the front are grouped together with the same code number.
	AT-GGE-7B. Unused delivery envelope. Shows one example of the diagonal security pattern.
	AT-GGE-7Ca. Unused delivery envelope. Characteristics: "Telecom Australia" and logo at left; small logo and letters; vertical wide wavy line security design in dark blue; schedule number 45885 under flap at right - the same as for one printing of GGE-7A.
Provenance: Rod Perry, Johnstone.	AT-GGE-7Ca. Unused delivery envelope which has been incorrectly printed. Characteristics: missing the green and magenta colours. Very rare - only recorded example.
	AT-GGE-7Cb. Unused delivery envelope. Characteristics: "Telecom Australia" and logo at left; larger logo and letters for Telecom Australia; vertical close wavy line security design in light blue; no schedule number.
