Distinctive characteristics of this form:

entries in the left box in the second row of panels rearranged to form only one column;
charges listed in the top box are for 16 words (TO-8A) and for 14 words (TO- 8B);
single large advertisement printed on reverse side in orange;
four lines in the TO box;
advertisement in lower left corner is for A REPLY-PAID TELEGRAM;
the last 4 digits of the schedule number are printed in the lower right corner;
the main distinctions between the varieties are:
8A: telegraph charges printed in STAMPS box in four lines (interstate rate included);
8B: telegraph charges printed in STAMPS box in three lines (no interstate rate).
8C: no telegraph charges printed on the form.

During the period of use of this form, telegram rates were changed.
From 1 July 1939, rates were based on a reduced number of words - from 16 to 14 - but they allowed the 15 miles provision to include destinations to another State.

Printed in October 1935.	AB-TO-8A. Used transmission form with Annuello date stamp of 22 April 1938. Characteristics: telegraph charges included in "STAMPS" box; schedule number split across bottom of "STAMPS" box and in lower right corner. NOTE: this form has discoloured badly over the years and is now quite brown.
