Distinctive characteristics of this form:

window envelope;
printed in green on fawn paper;
the main distinctions amongst the varieties are:
2A: has a 40 mm high window and border and a security design on the reverse side;
2B: has TELEGRAM in thick letters and a rounded flap with curved sides;
2C: has a 48 mm high window and border and a security design on the reverse side.

Heading under TELEGRAM incorporates the words "CONFIRMATORY COPY".

AA-EC-2A.
Printed in November 1958.
Characteristics: 40 mm high combined window and thin green border; TELEGRAM is in thin serif letters 6.5 mm high;	AA-EC-2A (reverse). Characteristics: has a rectangular flap with deeply curved sides; has a fine green security pattern; schedule number is in the lower right corner and incorporates date.
AA-EC-2B.
Printed in December 1960.
Used at Brisbane on 17 July 1961. Characteristics: 50 mm wide combined window and thicker green border; TELEGRAM in thicker sans-serif letters 6.2 mm high.	AA-EC-2B (reverse side). Characteristics: rounded flap with curved sides; security pattern is printed inside; schedule number in LRC incorporating date.
AA-EC-2C.

Characteristics: window and thin green border combined are 48 mm high; TELEGRAM is in thin serif letters 6.5 mm high;	AA-EC-2C (reverse side). Characteristics: rectangular flap with deeply curved sides; fine line security printed outside; schedule number is in the lower right corner. No date is printed for the first printing but date (year) is incorporated from 1962.
