Reply paid - overview

These forms could be used for both ordinary rate and urgent rate reply paid telegrams.

AE-RO-1 (upper section). For original message. Letters for heading are in serif font and are thin.
AE-RO-1 (lower section). For reply paid message. Has a reference to "Cct" at right.
AE-RO-2. Similar format to that above for the original message area. Letters for heading are in sans-serif font and are thicker.
AB-RO-3 (upper section). Heading is in larger serif font, Original message area is below a divided section facilitating the use of a window envelope for delivery. Sender details can be more clearly recorded.
AB-RO-3 (lower section). "Time" is now below "Check" at left. Reference changed to "Line" from "Cct" at right.
AB-RO-4. Heading changed to RECEIVED TELEGRAM. There are now four sections in the blank space for the message.
AB-RO-5. Form changed to be a separate voucher not attached to the original telegram. Heading section is divided into four areas.
AB-RO-6. Heading section is divided into six areas with boxes.
AW-RO-7. PREPAID REPLY TELEGRAM is in a central box surrounded with thick lines. Top right box has the words AFFIX STAMPS HERE.
AW-RO-8. PREPAID REPLY TELEGRAM is in a central box and there are only thick horizontal lines. Top right box has the words CASH REGISTER OR STAMPS.
AW-RO-9. PREPAID REPLY TELEGRAM is in a central box surrounded with thin lines. Top right box has the words CASH REGISTER OR STAMPS.
AA-RO-10. Printed on blue paper. Has AUSTRALIAN POST OFFICE above PREPAID TELEGRAM.
