Heading and notes:	1950 printing: Form number T.G. 42. Standard heading above TELEGRAM. "Chl. No." added to the line under the heading.
Message area:	Blank.
Reverse side:	Blank.

Size of form overall:	A format: 98 × 190 B format: 110 × 196 BB format: 100 × 214 mm.

Distinctive characteristics of this form:

continuation of the CHL. No. introduced with DO-10F (49);
printed in the normal format and in both type B and BB formats
the main distinctions amongst the varieties are:
10A: basic T.G. 42 format with centered date of printing;
10B: type B format with left justified date and CHL in capitals;
10BB: type BB format with left justified date;
10C: light blue-green printing.

The 1950 printings changed the format of T.G. 42 slightly. A "Chl. No." (channel number) was added to the line under the heading (following its introduction in DO-10F (40)). That addition altered the placement of the other entries. "No." was normally under the T of TELEGRAM but that varied considerably - especially with the (rogue) blue-green printings. The letters "Chl" also varied between upper and lower case with no pattern.

Printed in May 1950.	AW-DO-10A (50). Hobart to Wynnum. 7 August 1951. Characteristics: year of printing at left is in full; month/year are centered under Schedule number; year has four digits. Typical wording for a telegram read out at a wedding reception around that time!!!!
Printed in August 1950.	AW-DO-10B (50). Melbourne to C.T.O. Hobart. 8 October 1951. Characteristics: CHL in upper case letters; printing date left justified and year in four numerals;
	AW-DO-10BB (50). St. Kilda Rail to Telegraphs Dubbo, NSW 1 September 1951. Characteristics: "Chl" in upper and lower case letters; font in boxes is bold and slightly larger; bigger space between heading and side boxes; BB form is 215 mm wide.
	AW-DO-10BB (50). Launceston to Paddington 24 November 1953. Same characteristics as for the Dubbo form above. Form has been miscut from the teleprinter leaving the heading showing at both top and bottom. That allows an accurate measurement of the height of the form (100 mm).
	AW-DO-10C (50). Meningie to Henley Beach, SA 24 January 1953. Printed in blue-green ink with faint text. Characteristics: "Chl" in upper and lower case letters; month/year are centered under Schedule number; year has only two digits.
