Size of datestamp box:	24 × 52 mm.

Distinctive characteristics of this form:

much simpler design with only one section above 32 boxes due to the omission of the details about Charges;
heading, with the Crest in the centre, is 173 mm wide;
large rectangular box for date stamp;
the main distinctions between the varieties are:
8A: no printed STATION name;
8B: has Station names for ADELAIDE and SYDNEY;
Type B forms with printed SYDNEY Station may have been printed before Type A which omitted the names of the sending Stations.

A Memo is known written on this form with a Moonta squared circle date stamp dated 30 October 1902.

(octagonal date stamp of TELEGRAPH DEPARTMENT
of 6 August 1894).

Characteristics:

It is probable that a form was also printed in this format with the sending office being MELBOURNE but such a form is yet to be seen.
