The cover bears two 6d mauve Swans tied with a 15-bar '6' cancellation. It also has a Singapore/ Paid arrival datestamp of May 21 1876.

It was carried per "China" 26 April 1876 and then from Galle on the "Tehran" on 15 May 1875.

A very rare item to an excellent destination - only 3 of these covers are known sent to England.

Franked with 1882-95 3d. pale brown with 6d. lilac tied by "6" numeral with faint Albany despatch c.d.s., with the appropriate arrival c.d.s. on reverse.
