Distinctive characteristics of this form:

the only Interim form not to include AUSTRALIA in the heading. Has NEW SOUTH WALES POST AND TELEGRAPH;
35 boxes numbered at right on the front and to 100 on the reverse;
has Stores number St. 637 on the front and St. 627 on the reverse side.

NI-DO-1.

Geurie to Narromine, NSW
(24 December 1901).

Characteristics:

has Stores number above "Office Stamp" of St. 637 and on reverse side above the top line of St. 627;
first line starting "TELEGRAM from..." finishes with "Station".

Narromine had only changed its spelling from NARRAMINE on 1 November 1900 so an early use of the new date stamp and in the year of issue.
