Two printings included a reference to Telecom Australia and a logo.
Message area: Unbordered rectangular window.
Reverse side: Blank.
Colours (text & envelope): Multicoloured on white.
Size of envelope overall: 89 × 146 mm.
Distinctive characteristics of this form:
 The Post Office Monthly Circular for June 1980 noted:

"Telecom Australia has decided to discontinue the use of the Christmas Greetings Envelope Form TX65G and use the normal greetings envelope (TX65F) in its place. Consequently any stocks of form TX65G held at Post Offices should be destroyed".

  • the security pattern was arranged either vertically or diagonally in different printings (see next image). The same schedule numbers were used despite the different arrangements. Hence all envelopes with this design on the front are grouped together with the same code number.
