New South Wales.
Listing of Telegraph Offices to about 1900.

Telegraph Offices opened either as a Telegraph Office (TO) or as a Post and Telegraph Office (P&T) in NSW before 1901. On 27 September 1861, the Colonial Treasurer (Mr. Weekes) said in the House: "the Government thought it desirable that the Office of Electric Telegraph and Post Office should be conducted in the same building and they intend to carry out this arrangement when circumstances enable them to do so". Then, about 1870, many Telegraph Offices were formally amalgamated with the corresponding Post Office.

A listing of Telegraph Offices in New South Wales to about 1900 is shown below. Hyperlinks lead to further details about that office.
